Some users have reported problems with their Norton Antivirus software deleting Papers. Unfortunately, we have already taken all the necessary steps to prevent Papers from being mistakenly labelled as a virus by Norton. Papers is certainly not a security threat to your system and you can make sure Norton does not regard it as one by placing Papers on your whitelist in Norton.

How to place Papers on your Norton Antivirus whitelist

  • Start up Norton Antivirus
  • Click on "Application Ratings"

  • Click on "Check a Specific File"

  • Select Papers, by navigating to your local disk -> Program Files(x86) -> Mekentosj -> Papers. Now Select the Papers application (Papers.exe, but may only show as "Papers")

  • Now click on "Trust now"

Now Norton Antivirus will not be scanning Papers, and consequently it will not delete your copy of Papers.
